Terms and Conditions



Please read the following terms and conditions along with the Questions and Answers Page

To make a reservation/enquiry you need to complete in full the Enquiry Form

There is a minimum stay requirement of 2 nights.
(At Christmas and New Year the minimum is 4 nights).

  1. We will request a deposit of 20% of the total cost to secure the booking.
  2. We will reserve any booking for a period of 48 hours if you request to allow you to pay a deposit.We tend not refund a deposit but will try and arrange alternate dates if possible.
  3. Deposits must be paid using the PayPal form that we will provideor by bank transfer.
    You do not need to open a PayPal account to do this but PayPal does restrict the number of transactions you can make without one
    We will confirm any payment received with our address included.
  4. We will provide details of how to get to the apartment, how to receive keys etc and answer any questions asked.
    You will need to provide the names of all guests when booking a reservation.
  5. We ask you to vacate the apartment  by 11.00am and we will make the apartment available from 2pm ( we will try for 1pm where possible and earlier if the apartment  has been vacant the day before). If you arrive after 10.30pm there is a 10 Euro late book-in charge
  6. We will provide no more than 2 sets of keys and clients will be asked and expected to pay 9000 HUF if they are lost. This cost cannot be paid in Euros or other currency.
  7. We provide sufficient towels for each client and bedlinen. We only provide bedlinen and towels for the number of guests reserving the apartment.
  8. We ask and expect the apartment to be returned in the same condition that it is found.
    You will be expected to place all rubbish in the dustbins provided, in the lower courtyard and ensure the kitchen is left clean and tidy after use.
  9. We expect all our clients to behave and act in a responsible manner whilst using the apartment.
    There is a police officer living in the apartment building and neighbours and the house manager will request police assistance if they have reasonable believe to think that the behaviour of clients using the apartment is not acceptable
  10. If you are asked to leave the apartment by the police they will make a police report of which we will receive a copy. We will not entertain any compensation claim as a result of anyone being asked to leave the apartment.
  11. If we have a strong belief that something has been stolen from the apartment then we reserve the right to request police assistance.
  12. The owners and agents of budapestflat4rent.com and its apartment have ensured that all items are installed safely and to manufacturas recommendations. We do not accept liability for accidents/ injuries or theft of belongings as a result of using the apartment, unless negligence on our behalf can be proven.
